Consultant led care in late pregnancy.

I have been consultant led all the way through this pregnancy due to a high BMI.

I saw the consultant at 36 weeks after I had a scan and I am now 39+ weeks and I have only seen my community midwife since.

I was induced in my last pregnancy at 39 weeks due to a larger baby (different hospital though) and this baby is measuring on the larger side.

Should I have had another consultant appointment? I am seeing my midwife every week and she said that she will book induction at 41+5, The wait isn't what is worrying me it's the fact that I am consultant led and I haven't seen a consultant since 36 weeks.

Is this normal? Do they usually pass you over to the midwives until you go into labour?
