Period cramps

I'm 35 + 5. Got into bed tonight and immediately have period type cramps. They are not going. Slightly duller than earlier. This has been for about half an hour ?

This isn't the beginning of labour is it? I have got lots i need to get done before that happens!!

Hi.. I think it is probably your body warming up, but it can take a long time to warm up all the way! I've been having period cramps since about 35 weeks and I'm 39 now. Mine have built to be pretty bloody uncomfortable, but they started just as niggly little aches at 35 weeks. If they get very uncomfortable or regular, call your midwife. But I'm sure baby will hang on for a while yet.
