Has anyone experienced very frequent Braxton-Hicks contractions (say, 10 per hour) from the end of the second trimester? If so, what was the outcome for you - did you end up delivering early?
I realise this is utterly unscientific, but I'll take anecdote in the absence of statistically significant data :)
I was basically caught with pretty strong - but painless - contractions every 3-4 minutes when I went in for monitoring for a different issue in week 28 or 29. I've been put on Utrogestan (200g, three times a day orally) and my cervix measured a normal length a few days after and a week after even though my contractions did not significantly diminish. So my obstetrician suggested I don't need a follow-up appointment sooner than four weeks.
I thought my uterus calmed down a bit since then but it's been going full throttle again lately and I'm sitting at work wondering how fast my cervix is likely to shrink up given the above.
