Okay so throughout this pregnancy I have been hunger the entire time! I'm 21 weeks and have put on over a stone so I need to reign the snacking in and go on a health kick. Any ideas for healthy snacks and meals to replace the biscuits?! I'm eating things like fruit, ryvita, rice cakes, nuts, yogurt etc but need some more ideas

I'd keep any carbs you eat to unprocessed ones - so oatcakes, very brown bread, brown rice etc.

Keep eating protein as much as poss - eggs, chicken, fish. Also stuff yourself with salad.

I'd keep clear of too much fruit as it can bump up your blood sugars and makes you want more!

Eat dark chocolate (70%) if needing a sweet fix. Its hard to eat too much of it!

Also nuts if you're allowed to eat them. (Not sure what rules are when you're pg)

I used to eat a small banana followed by a large glass of milk especially before I went to sleep. The potassium in the banana also ensured that I didnt suffer from any leg cramps. Mini babybel cheese was also good if I was feeling hungry and popcorn though not together!

yes to the protein.
Boiled egg, chicken drumstick.
A bowl of cereal (coco pops etc if you want something chocolaty).
Are the yoghurts full fat? Don't go for diet anything.

A stone doesn't sounds too bad for over half way through. I put on 15kg, so just over 2 stone, in ttoal with each of mine, and was considered to have put on the ideal amount. If yuo are very slim, you'll need to put on more weight than that.
