Are your bumps more active in the evening?

End of 3rd trimester here but still getting lots of movement from bump. But it tends to almost all be in the evening or at night. At first I thought it was just because those are the times I'm resting so pause to feel it, but now that I'm on a nap schedule my cats can't compete with, I'm wondering is it a real phenomenon?

mine is very active in the evening and can start late afternoon! don't feel much at all earlier in the day.

This is dc2 and I don't remember ds being like that but then that was 3 years ago . It's amazing what I had forgotten! Smile

Yes from about 5pm till 9.30pm mine looks like an alien is trying to break out!

lucybrad · 28/07/2013 16:35

yes!

36+ weeks here so presume similar to you and yes definitely more movement in evening, esp 10-11pm, more rolls etc now rather than kicks, bony bits!

32+4 here and getting loads of movement every evening; fairly quiet during the daytime, aside from the odd bony bit sticking out of my side!

I have just done an empirical study where I lay on the beach all day and much of the evening too and can confirm that yes, baby is busier in the evening.

mustardtomango · 28/07/2013 19:53

Most definitely more busy first thing in the morning and then again at night, I'd thought I was just distracted during the day but lying round today confirmed it - sleeps in the day and wakes at night haha

same here too, teatime onwards we get the majority of the wiggles. And whenever I have a hot drink in the day.

EmB1715 · 28/07/2013 21:17

Yep! Every evening and night it's kick, kick, kick!

Lovemyprincess4eva · 28/07/2013 22:28

Yep mine starts from around 7pm. I'm praying its not what she is going to be like when she is born haha x

Mine too! 38+2 here and although I feel movements throughout the day it's 7-9pm when she really goes alien-crazy. Keeps DH highly entertained.

37wk Mine is a evening night owl too from about 5pm usually untill about 10pm he feels like he is kicking and punching to escape but can go on till 2-3am not much in the morning just a little wiggle

Batterseachick · 29/07/2013 21:58

Mine too. Does anyone know if this means if baby is more likely to come early? Or is that wishful thinking?
