I've mostly been posting I'm grumpy/I'm tired/I'm crying threads so I'd like to start a new one for a new emotion - love!

Obv I love DH but he's also slightly annoying me lately but today he made up for it.

I'd taken the dog for a walk, just a short - about 25 mins- one across the fields by our house. The weather was good, I'd been lying on the lounger in the shade and it was nice and not too hot so off we went. DH was working on a shed, he used to be a carpenter so has some expensive tools.

I was wearing a t-shirt, skirt & flip flops and exactly half way through our walk it started raining. Huge fat raindrops, I was drenched in a minute. By the time I got to a tree line I was so wet the rain was dripping from my eyebrows and I decided to keep going as I couldn't get much wetter. A minute after I saw DH running towards me and holding his side. When he'd realised it had started raining he had grabbed a hoodie, shoved it under his t-shirt to keep it dry and come to meet me.

He'd had to pick me or his tools and he'd picked me!! The weather cleared minutes later so his tools are ok (I hope!) but I thought it was really sweet.

So what has your DH done to redeem himself lately?!

yesterday I had bloods taken (took four attempts as I have rubbish veins!) and my anti d and wc vaccines. when we got home dp sat me down in front of the tv and made a gorgeous dinner to say thank you for everything I have to put up with for his little baby. I'm happy to do it all but it was really nice to be told how much he appreciates the effort it takes to be pregnant!!Smile

Nice thread Helga , all the DH bashing threads were getting a bit depressing!

DP left for work this morning and I opened up my notebook to start my to-do list (I'm a few weeks away from starting my business - it's a very long list!)

Next to it he'd written me a letter to say how happy he was that we were starting a family, proud of me for the business etc.

It was so nice and made me feel a tad bad that I'd been nagging at him before he left for work. Grin

What a lovely post. Just generally been brilliant. Very hectic at work and I'm tired and grumpy in this heat. All our washing done and ironed, tea ready when I get home, picks up things when I drop them because I find it uncomfortable, teas on constant supply, keeps telling me I look beautiful even though I look like a puffer fish. Acts sympathetic when i tell him disgusting pregnancy symptoms. This is all while he runs two businesses. He's a legend.

My hubby is just generally great, have been such a bitch grump lately and he hasn't once complained. He is doing everything in the house and once home from work he's taking our little man out for a bit so I can have a bit of quiet.
And today has been crap as I was already moody we then had to spend ages at the bank/on the phone as some horrible person has nicked our details and been spending on our credit card, fuming! So he's organised a sitter and is taking me out for my favourite curry as I've been craving it for ages......love him Smile

Mine has been great. Generally sorting stuff out around the house and tidying the garden and bringing home flowers and boxes of chocolates Grin what a star!

I got told the other day that my blood pressure is high so I have to take it easy for a while and try and stop stressing out. (Both grandparents are in hospital ill and we are moving house next weekend, so not easy to do). So DH came home from work cooked us a lovely meal and hasn't let me do anything for the move, he has packed most things and also took our ironing to a local shop that does it so that I don't have to.
I know its just general stuff but makes me feel so special and loved xx

My Dh has been awesome. We've just moved house so he's done all the DIY on his own, whilst looking after me (I've been hopeless for the last 10 weeks) and has generally just amazed me. So proud of him, he's always been one to sit back and be looked after but he's really showing himself to be top drawer daddy material Smile
