Am 13+4 weeks with DC1 and am generally a bit clueless. When's the best time to start NCT / ante-natal classes? Do you have to book on them in advance? Haven't done anything yet - wondering if it's too early/too late....

It's not too late and the NCT website will give you a choice of dates dependent on your due date. Just look up your local branch/general location on their site x

p.s. they don't start until 30-32 weeks

Aaah - didn't know that! Cheers Queazy!

We had our first NCT class this week. I'm 30 weeks. I booked it back at Easter when I was about 14 weeks as I'd heard they get booked up. On the website they will have courses for the month you are due (ours is for those due in Sept/Oct).

I've also been doing Lazy Daisy birthing classes which Irecommend. You can start these sooner and it's a class that you go to once a week so lots of chance to practise the breathing and relaxation techniques to feel more prepared.
