Anyone else's boobs not exploded?

In my previous pgs, by this time (9 weeks) mine had gone up at least a size and I was in comfy bras. This time, I'm still in the pretty lacy ones I bought a week before my bfp.

My nipples are tender occasionally, and I get the odd stabbing pain now and then, but apart from that, nothing.

I finished bf-ing DD about 5 months ago. Could it be because that was so recent?

My boobs are driving me mad!!!!

I only got my BFP 6 days ago and already they are out of control!!

They have definitely got bigger, none of my bras fit, they feel tight and pert, my areolas have gone huge and all the little lumpy glands are appearing, I'm got some blue veins developing and I have a permanent 'nipple-on' Grin They ache all the time and any sensation against my nipples sends little shocks waves through me!!!

I'm 14 weeks and still breastfeeding DD who is 17 months. I have also noticed that this time, my boobs have not gotten bigger. My only explanation for this is that maybe because I already have all the extra milk glands and milk, no extra is needed?

Mine haven't and I'm 22+3 now Smile it's my first though.

They are slightly bigger and occasionally nipples are a bit itchy or an odd pain but otherwise as they were (apart from more visible vains).

Obviously that might change as I get further on xx

I stopped bf DS 2 weeks before I got pregnant - my boobs have stayed pretty much the same size, just gone up one back size now I'm getting towards the end (so also down one cup)

I actually think I'm going to have to go bra shopping tomorrow Sad I'm loathe to do it though as if my breasts keep changing at the current rate I'll be buying new bras every few weeks!!

Or is it likely that because of how much they've changed already the growth should slow down???

I stopped bf DD a couple of weeks before conception. Last time my boobs doubled in size within a couple of weeks of conception. This time nothing. I'm 15 weeks. I'm pretty gutted but at least they're not sore.

Cake Did you find it easy to hide from people?? If my boobs grow anymore I know people are going to get suspicious!!! [

Thanks all! Hopefully it is that all the milk ducts etc are all present and correct, and they'll just start doing their thing again when necessary Smile

I've got two DC and haven't had pregnancy boobs in either pregnancy. I think it's like any other symptom not everyone experiences it and it can vary between pregnancies in the same person Smile

Do you guys think it has anything with the size of the boobs to start with? Mine are really sore, and has been since the week I got pregnant, but they haven't grown much in size - still wearing my usual bras! My boobs are quite big as they are though, so I'd rather they didn't get any bigger at all!

Writer - if you're going to need new bras, why not go to somewhere like bravissimo - most people end up in a completely different size and looking like they've got completely different boobs when they come out of there, so you can blame your much bigger looking chest on their excellent fitting style :D

(i would recommend them anyway)

Mine are maybe slightly fuller and were very sore for first trimester but much to my disappointment at 28 weeks they haven't grown :-( I have tiny boobs and it was the one thing I was actually looking forward to about pregnancy!!!

Im 21+5 an ive gone.up 3 cup sizes already but they arent painful. Nipples get tender now and then but not unbearable. And im wearing normal, pretty bras but bigger sizes x

I'm 7 weeks with my second and nothing has happened with mine. It's not that long since I stopped bf so it could be that they know what they're doing already. I never stopped producing milk. It's still there.

Has anybody else had the breast pain fluctuate??

Yesterday and today there are no pains or aches at all - I'm worried this means that something is going wrong.... Sad

My boobs didn't change a bit. Apart from sore nipples. They stayed the same size during and after pregnancy and bf (well, expressing).
