Help, I've been bitten!

Hello, think I might be over reacting, but....
I'm currently on holiday in Rhodes and literally just been bitten by something. I noticed a pain in my leg and a bit of blood.
Normally wouldn't be bothered but I'm pregnant overseas and on red alert for any potential hazards.
Because it hurt I thought it might be something other than a mosquito?
Please can someone tell me I've not been bitten by a notorious baby harming bug so I can sleep tonight.

You will be fine, its most probably a mosquito, try not to scratch

yeaaah mosquitobites hurt :P Had tons of them on holiday

I've been bitten loads here in the UK, currently have an extremely itchy bite n my bump now.

Glad I'm not the only one! I've got hoarded of mozzie bites - all on bump, nowhere else - but I'm allergic so really bloody itchy!!

I was really worried about putting anything in them but they've calmed down now.
