Has anyone been to AquaNatal classes?

What was it like? how much did it cost? was it worth it?

I want to sign up but I've never done anything like it before (I have HFA so avoid social groups).

But I need to exercise and really want to swim and thought it might be a good option.

TIA

I go every week, and I love it. mine is free as its funded by the local council but I'm guessing that varies depending on area. I find it very relaxed and a bit of a laugh as you're all just big and pg and floating around together!!

I went to Aquafit at our local baths in both pg, and let the instructor know I was pg. There were a fee exercises she told me to do differently , buy obviously this would not be a problem for a soecifi. Aquanatsl class. I thought the exercise was a bit gentle, but i wasn' t up to.my usual running, mountain biking etc anyway.

Mine is free. I am not a sociable person and normally keep away from groups. I started off staying on my own on the edges of the group. But I'm now starting to make contact with people. It's really helping my confidence! Plus there is a mother n baby/toddler group on at the same time in the next pool so when baby here you just migrate to other pool, same people etc.
For the actual classes it's all about movements, which s a lot easier with the water. We also have a giggle playing games with the floats. We make more noise than the little ones!

I attended my first ever aquanatal on tues.
It was a £1 and lasted an hour.
Gentle exercise and was really good, it was only a small group 7 in total, didn't know anyone but by the end all the ladies were talking, i'll definitely be going again next week, just wish I could have started earlier in the pregnancy!

I loved my aquanatal/aquayoga classes. That and pregnancy yoga kept me sane!

My classes cost a bit but was worth it

Sounds good so far. Thanks. :)

I'm not sure if I need to pre book though and I have a phone phobia, I can't find anything online.

I'm in the Chester/Wrexham area if anyone knows.

I love it-costs about 3.50 a session here.

no need to prebook but places at ours are limited to about 16 people tho I havent seen anyone being turned away yet!

Can you email or drop in if u dont want to phone?
