I've finally started getting stretchmarks (towards end of second pregnancy). They are red, angry and itchy... Has anyone found anything that actually helps stop them getting worse?

Not sure if it stopped them but I found palmers cocoa butter and e45 helped soothe mine last time. :) think palmers was half price in boots when I was in earlier this week x

My friends and I swear by biooil, I'm 39 weeks now and still have none and if you have some it should make them better. I could just be lucky though.

I haven't used it myself but people say bio oil is really good, it's quite pricey but I think super drug do the same thing but in a cheaper version

Thanks all, will give your suggestions a shot... something has got to stop the itching, if nothing else!

I use coconut oil bought from H&B. I got a few at the end of my last PG (twins) on my hips. Worked a treat.

both my last pregnancies i used palmers pregnancy stretch mark creamwhich is very reasonably priced, esp in bodycare. I didnt get a single stretch mark so ile be using the same again this time. Could have been luck but i guess time will tell.

I've been taking a bath in Bloom and Blossom bath oil - makes my skin feel really moisturised. Not sure if it will help (I'm 29 wks today) but as of yet, no stretch marks...
