Wish I had never bloody brought my DP a book about pregnancy. He is now apparently a professor of pregnancy and knows everything there is to know.

I can't do anything without him piping up that I should be doing it a different way. Every single night I get told I need to lie on my left side regardless of the fact the right side is more comfy.

There are loads of other things too and when I question him saying surely I know more about this than him seeing as I am the one actually going through this pregnancy he just replies that the book says do it this way.

I know he is only trying to help and it's cute that he is so excited, but I wish he would give it a rest.

Anyone else have any know it all partners or family?

My DH has not read any of the books that I got him and whilst he is very compliant, I have to ask for EVERYTHING and since i've been on Maternity leave, he seems to think that I should be doing all the cooking too.

Whilst I would find it too annoying if he told me how to be pregnant, it would be nice to have him understand a bit. Particularly the tiredness and discomfort [am 35+2 with a pretty big baby- measuring 6lb 4 at 34 weeks!]
