Pain in cervix?

I'm 21+3 with my first and all day I've had a constant, dull pain in my cervix. It's worse when I'm standing up. Has anyone else experienced this? I was worried about it so I called the midwife and she just kind of fobbed me off telling me to take painkillers and have a bath. I've not touched any painkillers since I got pregnant (personal choice) and she told me that it's obviously not that bad if I'm choosing not to take painkillers but I even coped with sciatica without taking anything. She then told me that she has no idea why I'm in pain and I've to call back when it becomes unbearable. Sorry for the ramble, just kind of upset that she fobbed me off like that.

Is this something to be concerned about?

When I was pregnant I sometimes had pain in my cervix, as my bump got bigger I worked out it was the baby kicking or punching me (cheers DD!) so could it be your baby putting pressure there?

Alternatively, friends with spd say it feels like you've been kicked in the crotch by a horse! Does it feel like that?

So sorry you're in pain and your midwife was unsympathetic. If you're worried I'd call again and speak to a different one.
