Do I need Isofix?

Second baby due soon (DS is 2) and the only isofix that works with my carseat is very expensive. Don't mind paying if it'll make a real difference but don't know if it will. Is it that much easier than putting baby into a sling and getting them out?

I lived in London with DS so rarely drive but use the car 2 or 3 times a day now (nursery, shops, toddler classes/play dates).

What are your experiences? Thanks!

You don't need one but I have found it a help, especially on those days where we're in and out of the car. It's nice and quick with a lot less faff. I only have a 3 door car so would be climbing right in to fasten the seat belt everytime. However I have the family fix for maxi-cosi and now can only get the pearl seat for the next stage if want to really get money's worth out of it.
