I was wondering if anyone had any tips; the last two nights I have been up 4/5 times in the night with a sore bump and very sore aching back. this happens whatever position and pillow combinations I try. Our mattress is firm too. When I finally give up and get up my back and bump are very achey indeed, which seems to wear off after about an hour or so of being upright. I would be grateful for any advice.

Do you have a Long body pillow? I was using mine down one side of my body but randomly changed it so it lay across the bed under the pillows. I sleep perfectly every night now never waking.
If nothing you can do works just get up, go back downstairs have a read to you relax again then go try again, staying in bed awake will just get you mo aggravated and the heat doesn't help

How far along are you OP? I'm 21 weeks and getting a sore back if I sit on the sofa and a sore bump after a few hours in bed, I thnk it's because my bump is having a growth spurt so feels a bit crampy if I try to stretch out. Try having a warm bath before bed to relax your muscles, or do you have a DP that's any good at massage? Won't last all night but should help you nod off for a few hours.

Thanks for responding im 31 weeks and had no negative symptoms at all until this, so I shouldn't moan really! We have a lot of spare pillows and cushions in our house so I have been using them rather than buy a special long one maybe im not understanding how to position them?
