Pink deffo H&M's malfunction - I've always had to buy size 14 in their maternity trousers (normally a 10) and even then I find them a funny fit, the calves are a bit of a squeeze...either that or cankles are reaching my knees!

Told dp our happy news. His face was classic!!! Scared (coz I had done the whole "I have some news" voice...) then shock ... then absolute delight ("I'm sooo happy I was wondering every day since we were apart when are we going to have our next baby") ... then a face that kind of said hey wait I cannot believe you kept this to yourself!!!!

Hi, joined the thread couple of weeks ago but have successfully avoided obsessing about being pregnant up to now. Saw GP Fri who referred me for early scan this week and been feeling rubbish since.

Just catching up. This is a very lovely thread. Congratulations to Gary. What a great labour! Hope your family are all keeping well.

Bodicea i had really bad back pain at about 32 wks with DS and it did ease off. I finished work early though (34 wks) which probably helped and I was very rested by the time DS arrived.

That is the fanciest changing bag ever!

Pink i slept for the last month semi-reclined against 5/6 pillows and it really helped with the hip pain.

Omri what an exciting evening for you. You must be so happy to all be together again.

I also have not lost my appetite, if anything, I'm more hungry. Really hoping that I can keep the weight gain a bit more under control this time, I put on over 3st with DS

Got my scan at 10am, I'm so nervous! I'm almost expecting the worst, but so wish that there will be a strong heartbeat and that it's measuring right. I'm 7+4 today.

Black I'm not a teacher but a friend who is a TA was thinking about starting her mat leave at the beginning of the Xmas hols (private school so 3 weeks off) until all her colleagues pointed out why that was a bit daft so just wanted to make sure it wasn't a common error :)

I've totally lost my appetite, which never happens (I gained 5 stone with DS) but just can't really eat anything at the moment. At least I'm not throwing up all the time, and I've got plenty of fat reserves to help me through this time

No loss of appetite here and 2 stone on so far (26 weeks), even the wicked heartburn doesn't stop me, I ordered some more maternity jeans last night as my other ones are digging in .

Can I join this thread please. I've just found out I'm pg after an early mc last cycle. I keep expecting my symptoms to just disappear like they did last month.

Hello ladies, can I join (or rather lurk here for a bit)? Had a mmc at the beginning of march and started trying again at the end of April (after a protracted round of scans, waiting, and finally erpc). BFP on 1 August. I really didn't have any hope for this month so still feeling pretty shocked about it. Nervous, happy, but trying not to get TOO happy until I've at least had 8 week scan...I think I'm 4 and a half weeks pg.

A few familiar faces on here - jbrd good luck for your scan today!! And omri don't think we've met but I love that you managed to keep schtum until your DH came home. There's no way on earth I'd have been that restrained!

Carrying on with things as normal for now - apart from not drinking/diet stuff/folic acid obviously - still cycling to work, even. Last time I stopped as soon as I found out I was pg and then spent every journey into and back from work googling nervewracking things which was not good for my sanity, and it would be even worse this time. So have decided it's much better for all round well being to keep myself occupied with exercise... I have 10 days holiday coming up so that will help too. It's ok to walk up Ben Nevis when 6 weeks pregnant, isn't it (weather and nausea permitting??)!

Right, my mind is working overtime. I had a scan at 6+4, and am scheduled another on Tuesday at 8+4. There was an embryo and a heart beat last time, but I am still absolutely terrified. I am just starting to get a little bit excited, B and SIL knew when we went away last week, and there was lots of baby talk, but every time I start to think a bit positively, another more negative worry kills it! Its the thought of getting there and being told its all over. I don't know if I can do that again.
I really need some posifrickentivity please.
