Confused

This is my second pregnancy with my first my due date was 12 June 2012 and I had her 10th June at 37 5 days which ment my due date was at 38 weeks and this time my due date is 14 th feb and this is 40 weeks I only know as having a c section at 39 weeks so confused?? X

Are you in a different country this time round? I think some countries have different pregnancy lengths

40 weeks is the date you are given as your due date but a baby is classed as term at 37 weeks - maybe that is where the confusion has come in?

No in same country but first time round due day was 38 and now been given my secound as 40 weeks abit worried as am having a c section at 39 I do t want go go I to labour at 38 like my first witch will be a rushed section I want to be prepared as last time had a bad time dealing with a unplanned section x

I would ask your midwife or consultant

40 weeks is from the date of your last period. 37/38 weeks would be from conception i'm guessing?
