Sorry in advance for way tmi!

I am 36+6. This morning I've woken up and my first two fingers on both hands have got dried blood on them. There is no blood anywhere on pillows/quilt/knickers.

I have looked all over and have no scratches anywhere or anywhere that would bleed. Am concerned it came from down below and could have been a show? But chances of none being anywhere else?

I feel I have reached an all time low in my mumsnetting posting!

I wouldn't panic. Might you have scratched up your nose and or had a tiny scratch behind your ear for eg.

Unlikely to be anything sinister unless it was lots of blood.

My show was more like a huge stringy snotty sneeze with tinges of blood.

Try not to worry x

Blow your nose if you have had a nose bleed there will be dried blood to come out!

Could it have been a mosquite (sp) or midge that you have splatted/scratched at during the night?

sparkle101 · 20/07/2013 10:23

Wow! I wasn't sure anyone would reply, thank you!

I have blown my nose and nothing but not to say it wasn't that as had a few during this pregnancy and could easily have been a scratch or midge as there's so many of them around. It was just the fact it's no where else and on both hands that worried me!

Believe it or not this is my second so I know what the show should look like- exactly like you described but for some reason I automatically worry about worse case scenario!

He's been kicking today and just going to keep an eye on that and the cramps I've been having - probably gearing up for the big day!

Thank you for reassuring a neurotic pregnant lady!
