Maybe tmi!!

I'm 24+3 and today I've woke up and I think I may have had a small bleed, it was dark so not fresh and it was like a dark red stain. I have gone through all possibilities I can think of but nothing makes any sense apart from a bleed.
I went to hospital on Wednesday night as I was having a few contractions and period aches but everything turned out fine (no infection, baby doing well and not dilating) so was sent home and was told if the pain persisted to go back.

I don't know what to do, I don't want to pester the hospital because I know they have enough on their plates as it is Sad
Wwyd?

Thank you in advance Smile

Defo call your midwife, I had the same at about 27 weeks and it was because of placenta praevia( low lying placenta) I was fine but I think any bleeding you should get checked out. I'm sure you will be fine

I'm 24+5 and had a small bleed last night too, not loads but noticeable when at the loo, called midwife and they wernt too concerned. Unless its continual and followed by cramping or any pain it is fairly normal, 1 in 3 women bleed throughout their pregnancy. It's so scary I got myself all worked up but honestly you will be ok! Just call midwife to let them know and follow up if it goes on!

Good luck SmileThanksThanks

Your not pestering, that is what they are there for. Call the hospital without a doubt. They may want to monitor you!

I had 3 or 4 small bleeds and it wasn't anything - they put it down to cervical erosion. Lots of people I know had it. I used to phone the maternity triage and they would have me in to check if they weren't busy. if they were busy (once) they just told me to monitor it.
