37+5 weeks and had a bleed this morning.

After going to the toilet I wiped myself three times and there was fresh blood ever wipe, I have had none since then but I have been having a dull ache in my bump.

Is this normal and what should I do?

It could be normal but it could be a sign that there is something wrong with your placenta. Please ring your delivery suite as they should want to do checks.

Ring delivery, if theres no pain then its not an emergency as in call an ambulance, but if it starts to hurt and theres lots call one !! I had a massive bleed last week at 32 weeks and passed a huge clot, but they couldn't find a reason, they think i may have a small bleed on my placenta.

I have gave them a call and they have told me to watch baby's movements and the pains in my bump. The midwife said that it sounds like a show and if I lose anymore blood to come in to triage.

I know this may seem daft but could the blood be coming from the outside or your labia? I had a small bleed with fresh blood for a couple wipes, got checked at the ADU. But when I went home I realized the cheap loo roll at work had grazed my fanny . Either way keep a eye on things like they said. But if you find a little graze or something it may set your mind at ease.
