Numb area on nipple?

Hi ladies,
Little concerned as I've woken up and notice a little circle about 1cm across on one nipple is puffy and raised, its kind of whitish underneath the skin and I can't feel pain in it? Not sure if its normal so just thought I'd ask...

Could it be a blocked milk duct? You could try a warm shower and see if it leeks a little as the milk comes away.

Could be any number of things but the only certain thing is that you need to get your GP to have a look.
