Leaky nipples at 26w?

I woke up this morning with what looks like something clear had leaked and dried on my nipple (only a tiny amount) I squeezed it (as ya do!! Lol) and a little bit of clear stuff came out. I just squeezed it again and it looks pale orangey white now Blush

Does this mean I have to start wearing nipple pads?? I don't want to get 'caught out' but I also don't want to start wearing bulky pads in this heat if its not going to get any worse for a long time
This is my first baby so I don't have a clue!! Smile

Mine did the same from around 26 weeks. It's just colostrum - it really freaked out my DH Grin when I showed him.

I'm now 35 weeks and its not increased at all. I just don't squeeze them so no need for pads as I'm not leaking onto my clothes. Your proper milk wont come in until a couple of days after the birth, then you may want/need pads.

Mine leaked before I had my bfp.

I woke up one morning and milk was coming out of my nipple Shock

I then tested 5 days later and got a bfp. They continued to leak throughout. Was really odd, when. Was pg with dd2 there was no sign of leakage, and my milk was there straight after birth. Still confuses the hell out of me to this day.

MissTweed · 17/07/2013 10:23

I've been leaking since about 25 weeks and now I'm 37 it's definitely got more - but only really at night so I don't have to wear pads during the day, which is very lucky!

I used to have to sleep on a towel out the bed would be soaked in the morning, started really early on too as ds was born at 32 weeks.

Or not out

Wouldn't say mine are leaking but I have noticed they can get a bit gungey! Especially the right one for some reason, always seems to have white gunge round it at the end of the day. Squeezing them doesn't seem to make any difference, guessing in a few weeks that will come!
