Humour me ladies Grin

I'm 7+1, feel like death and have just vomitted up some banana milkshake, it actually wasn't that bad! compared to yesterday's fruit yogurt

Egg mayor? Egg mayor? What exactly is an egg mayor?

LostInWales · 15/07/2013 21:18

Ooh, ooh, I know (sorry, extensive product testing here, if I'm pregnant I vomit, whatever the trimester) I used to always have full sugar ribena when I woke up and it was sweet and lovely coming back, much better than water and HEAPS better than just bile god this is all bringing it back I am so glad my baby days are over

My sympathies OP and all you vomity pregnant women. Just stick to the MN mantra, 'This too shall pass'.

Peppermint tea - tasted lovely and minty coming back up

Water - just plain water tasted fine too

I have severe sickness (15w) and nothing else tasted good coming back up...

Sweet cereal. On cyclizine I still chucked up every morning before work for ages, but found a big bowl of milky cereal make it so much more bearable! Especially whilst coming through the nostrils, lol x

Icecream

WandaDoff · 15/07/2013 21:52

Ribena, it tastes just the same coming back up Smile

weirdthing · 15/07/2013 22:01

Ready Brek - nice to puke and looked exactly the same.

ThreeEyedRaven · 15/07/2013 22:15

These are brilliant, thank you ladies Grin

I tend to only actually vomit around tea time, so reckon if I steer clear of the mash potato and egg rolls then it shouldn't be too bad!

I might try some skittles tomorrow just to entertain myself! Grin

Solero ice cream

kelda · 15/07/2013 22:16

But only if I vomited it up immediately and it was still cold.

Dollybird86 · 15/07/2013 22:46

Anything citrus! I don't mind bread toasted or normal! Pasta plain is ok add sauce & its not great banana is ok. The worst had to be mashed potatoes I still can't even think about eating it @26 & ms went @ 17! Rice couscous & pluses are ok I didn't really eat much else. Dairy was & still is something that will make me sick & is not nice on the way back up anyway. Feel better soon.

Accidentallyquirky · 15/07/2013 22:57

Sprite and summer fruits oasis taste the same second time around , it's all I drank for 28 weeks.

I couldn't stand bread or toast coming back up as it felt like it was getting stuck Confused

EmBeEmBe · 16/07/2013 02:53

Jelly. Easy on the throat. Or a Mars Bar, washed down with plenty of milk. But never eat curry if still at risk of vomming. The memories still make me nauseous. Ah, happy days. Still at it at 16 weeks but hope to be done soon!!

Sunflower1985 · 16/07/2013 09:48

After having a gastric bypass whatever comes back up is the same as what goes in. Had a very sicky pregnacy so know this for sure. Anyone else?

ChairOfTheBored · 16/07/2013 10:00

Nothing was great, though agree with others that plain water didn't taste offensive. Orange juice was OK, but a bit burny.

I will never eat another mini shreadded wheat after a unexpectedly violent vomming session left me sneezing shredded wheat for the next two hours...

TiffanyAtBreakfast · 16/07/2013 10:29

Haha. This is the weirdest thread ever.

ChristineDaae · 16/07/2013 11:26

Chocolate milkshake right after drinking. Word of warning, do not throw up Jalapeños! It's awfulSad

karinmaria · 16/07/2013 11:35

Salmon and lentils. Chucking up fish is the most disgusting thing I have ever experienced. Ugh.

StillPukin · 16/07/2013 13:40

Every morning I have a glass of fresh orange juice, a tangerine and a plum because I know it will return in about an hour, this makes it far less nasty. Whenever if I feel the nausea start to build throughout the day I try to eat some fruit - I've worked out it usually takes about an hour from the start of it starting to build and it reappearing.
For this reason, whatever you do avoid cheese - I dont think I'll ever be able to eat it again in any shape or form.
Hope it soon passes for you x

Milk or chocolate milk. Had 34 weeks of HG with both pregnancies and I swear milk was my saviour. Vomit tastes less acidic. Also used to rinse my mouth with milk after I vomited to reduce the acidity in mouth and damage to tooth enamel.

No curries and pretty much anything with onion is awful on the return.

LottyLikesWindows · 16/07/2013 21:14

Is there anything worse than morning/evening/all day sickness and vomiting? Well I'm sure there is but it certainly does not feel like it when food is flying out of mouth and nostrils. I'm going to have to concur with those who've mentioned bananas and water. I nearly wept with happiness the first time I threw those up. Cannot say the same about apples or anything with onions or tomatoes in it.

Really hoping your sickness will pass soon. Mine is still lingering on at 15 weeks. The bastard!
