Not wanting baby to come before due date

Lots of posts talk about wanting the baby out nice and early (but not too early), how to encourge it along etc. I'm 32 weeks and have soooo much to do (including house renovations) that I really really hope this baby (DC1) won't come early, and right now I think I wouldn't mind it to come about 5 days late! Is there anyone else of a similar mindset?

Am sure there are plenty of people who hope the baby's late, however, wait until you're 38/39 weeks before you decide for sure that you'd like to stay pregnant for at least another fortnight!

Plus once you're that pregnant, yu may find getting around doing your house renovations impossible. Unless you're directing someone else doing it

I thought that until now, I'm 38+5 and I am done. It's hot and everything hurts, I do not mind one bit if baby comes early!!

Yes-I did think that about being 38/39 weeks and feeling completely differently! But the house could be a building site still then (arghhhh!!!!) so I'm not sure how I'll be feeling!

With my last dc i used to ask him to be a good baby & not come before hid due date...except he was dc5 & i had all the others at 37 &38 weeks.

I was in the middle of doing the house up & i knew if i didn't finish it before he was born, it wouldn't get done for years.He popped out at 40&2!

I'm 36 weeks exactly and might have to be induced by 38/39 weeks - I'm a bit sad about it because the other 2 were late and even though it drove me bonkers at least i was positive they were cooked.

Although the induction has been mentioned because this one is humongous already, so another 4 weeks and I may well give birth to a toddler!
