I am only seven weeks, this week I have become so moody/emotional! I am up and down and constantly shouting at my husband over tiny things! I feel sick unless I am eating and then I eat so much I feel more sick? My trousers won't fit me anymore, possibly from all the extra food I have eaten in the last couple of weeks and my right side hurts so much because I neef the toilet so often. Not a whinge as I couldn't be happier to be pregnant (at long last) but isn't it a little early for all of this!!?

:-)

Nope it's about right to be starting to feel horrid I'm afraid. I found bloating awful at about 6/7 weeks and then the sickness just got worse and worse. By about 12 weeks you're supposed to be starting to feel better (Im still a few weeks off but praying its true!)

The first trimester is really hard so don't beat yourself up if you are eating loads - it's one of the only things that helps the nausea. A lot of people seem to exist on carbs too and I know I went completely of meat and fruit an veg for a while. Just try to keep well hydrated and well rested and focus on getting through this first part and soon you'll hopefully feel much better Smile

I seem to have gone off diary products more than anything, meaning for breakfast I 'need' a sausage sandwich! It does genuinely feel like eating is the only thing that makes me feel better!! Thank you for your reply and good luck xx

Spot on timing. I'm the same as you. 9 weeks and feel sick unless I'm eating. Then I eat too much and feel sick.

This is second pregnancy and they say you feel better at about 12 weeks. Last time though I was more like 16 weeks before feeling better.

It does get better, I was just like you, no morning sickness but awful nausea and the tiredness and bloating was so hard to deal with. It gradually got better around week 10-11 for me. I'm now 14 weeks and feel completely normal, if I hadn't seen our baby at my scan a fortnight ago I would be worried that I'm not really pregnant as I feel so good!! [Shock]
Hang in there and be kind to yourself, if want something eat it, if u need to cry then cry, if u need to sleep longer then do it but these feelings don't last forever. The bloating also gets easier, by six weeks I'd grown out of my work trousers but now I don't think its got any worse so it should be the same for you. If its any consolation week 7 and 8 were my worst and then it gradually got better Flowers
