Early scan this morning

Hello,

I had a early scan this morning- just a little unsure as she told me i was showing to be 7+2w when going from the day of last P makes me around 8+6w ??

She asked if my p was irregular and it has been, could this be why??

was there a heartbeat?? Dates can be a bit off at this stage, did they book you in for another scan???

both my last two pregnancies dated differently by scan to what they shud hav been going by period but they both came according to the dates given by the scan so id use this as the one to go by if i was u xx

I have my 12 week scan already booked at my local hosp perhaps I will give them a call mon and let them know i had a early scan today otherwise I will only be 10w 6days and not 12w 2 like I thought

Hello! My GP has given me a EDD nearly 11 days earlier than the one I get it I go off when I ovulated. His is off my LMP. My cycles are not the standard 4 weeks but really 5.5, so I have worked out that that probably accounts for the discrepancy!

Perhaps you too ovulated later in your cycle than you thought, and so that could explain it!
