So my eldest (3) asked me if I'd still love him when Greg comes along. It sounds stupid but it upsets me!. I obviously replied yes,George is fine with Blake though so I'm confused!.

I think this is very normal as George is just trying to work out whether everything will still be 'normal' with a new brother. The first few days with our youngest I made as little fuss as possible with the new baby - he was lying in a Moses basket so somewhere 'neutral' when DD wandered over to look (not seeming that interested at first which I think must have been her needing to do things in her own time)

I continued to talk mainly to her etc as DS was too small to mind and just paid him endless attention when she was elsewhere!

Anyway despite my efforts she did ask me a week after his birth if I was bored of her which felt so sad! But not in a sad way, just asking. So I continued with as much reassuring behaviour as time allowed and 2 years later they are extremely close and always kissing each other and no rivalry ever. Hth

Ps except when they are both after the same toy when I remind them to either play together or ask for a turn nicely!!
