Hello,
I'm 37 weeks 3 days pregnant and had growth scan yesterday. I've been told baby is 7lb 15oz already. I'm really worried as have SPD and my previous child was almost a 10lb(er). I've not been tested for gestational diabetis and also on claxane for genetic blood clotting disorder so have higher chance of heavy bleeding during labour. Consultant says that induction can cause complications to the baby. I don't like idea of c section because I'm more likely to get blood clots after delivery and giving birth vaginally it just scares me as last time I ended up immobile for more than 2 weeks. What are my options I wonder... Anyone had this or similar experience?

Just a couple of points - growth scans are notoriously inaccurate so try not to worry too much. Also, there is a good chance this delivery will be easier than the last one. DC2 was 2 lbs heavier than DC1, but the delivery was much much easier, and I recovered quicker. Best of luck.
