I've been scouring the internet to put my mind at rest about this...but all the answers just focus on whether or not it's possible for a man's penis to reach the baby and hurt it....now I know THAT obviously can't happen, what I'm worried about is whether my partner's weight pressing against me (he's a pretty hefty guy) could squash my baby and hurt it. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant. We're trying to choose sensible positions, of course, but there are still some bumpy-grindy moments which always make me so paranoid afterwards. I'm sure I'm just worrying too much (first time mum) but can anyone out there reassure me?

Haha! Thats why i do it myself cause i know that its definately in right place then! Plus it puts him off if.he concentrates on too much at once! Hes a special individual! 8) :p

And DP likes the c ring. I prefer the bullet but weve compromised and use both! He likes the ring turned round so that it goes down his jingle bells! Lmao! The vibrator on.t c ring is very long an thick so goes quite far down. And then id just use my bullet whilst its on. Its like a big vibrating mess in our bedroom haha! Just experiment with then see what u like :p x

Can't be bothered with the additional hardware. But despite sickness, preganancy thrush, we are still annoying the neighbours three times a day. Must be the extra blood flow (10 weeks). All positions up for grabs, sometimes pressure on top makes me feel uncomfortable. Still can lie on front and am enjoying it whilst I can!

You're all so lucky ladies, I've had no action at all since finding out I was pregnant, my OH is convinced the baby will know what's going on.

I wish I could be as adventurous as you ladies! Im at nearly 29 weeks and would love to feel close to DH and have some fun at least a few more times before baby comes but cant help feeling like i would feel disgusting and wrong if we were in the middle of things and baby started wriggling :(

Hi I'm 17 weeks and doc said at scan last week that DH & i need to be 'extremely careful' with sexual relations as the placenta is in wrong position (apparently too far down). Annoyingly I'm now finally over the morning sickness and now libido is right up, but I'm a little paranoid about what 'careful' means and how gentle we need to be. Sounds really silly but any recommendations / has anyone had a similar experience? Don't want to abstain, but equally don't want to put baby at risk...

I'd just like to interject and remind you ladies that yes, you can say cock on mumsnet.

I'm with JoJoManon I'm afraid Sad I am so up for it (when I have the energy) but at 31+3 with twins am massive and since DP felt them move he has gone right off it Sad that must have been about 8/9 weeks ago. I AM GAGGING!!!!!! Ended up buying a lil something in Ann Summers to keep myself going haha. I really miss the intimacy though and keep thinking oh I'll pounce on him just once more before they arrive but by the time the boys are in bed or things have been done after work I'm just knackered Sad will have to be a morning I think, maybe he will still be sleepy enough to not think about it haha.
