As a single mum to be there's no one really to tell so sorry for putting it here.

I've had two scans so I've seen the heart beating away but today is the first time I've heard it. 17+1 now and its all beginning to feel rather real!

I haven't head the heartbeat of mine yet, but I can only imagine it is amazing. Just seeing the bubba on the screen at the scan was magical enough. Grin

Awww it's amazing isn't it! We just had an early scan at 10 weeks on Monday and I just started crying when I heard it. Such a little miracle. Congratulations Grin

Awww congratulations! I had my 16 weeks midwife appointment this morning and was listening to baby too. Was so lovely to have another check on progress and know that things are going ok. I've started to feel baby too, which is quite exciting, although am still not sure whether it is movement or wind sometimes! lol :)

Thank you all very much Smile

It was really lovely to hear and my kids now want to know when they can come to an appointment and hear it so I might have to change my next appointment to outside school time!

I heard the heartbeat for the 1st time last week. The midwife said that if it sounds like a train its a boy and if it sounds like galloping horses its a girl... Anyone else heard this? Ours was definitely a train, dh is over the moon and we are not going to find out the sex officially so here's hoping its right!

greenj1 · 11/07/2013 19:40

Congratulations!! Its a lovely feeling when you hear The Hb :) my 3 ds came to my 28 week appointment and when they heard the heartbeat they went totally silent then my youngest asked why did I have a train in my tummy :)

ChairOfTheBored · 12/07/2013 09:26

Congratulations!

I had my 12 scan this week, and once she was convinced everything was OK the sonographer turned the sound on so we could hear the heartbeat. It was magical!
