Hi all. I'm 33+2 and feeling really rubbish and pretty fed up! Nausea and period-type pains keep coming and going.

I did push myself a bit yesterday with the housework and am pretty achey today. My SPD was awful last night. Turning over in bed was agony.

Is the nausea and mild period pains normal at this stage? I've been feeling baby pretty low down and not really around my ribs as much. Could he have dropped down a bit lower and that would explain the pains?

I had my blood pressure taken and urine checked on Monday. All normal.

You can sometimes get a return of morning sickness in the third trimester. Could also be a bug but if you're worried go to midwife or GP, they're there to help and reassure Smile

I have actually got a GP appt for tomorrow. I just wasn't sure if I'd be wasting her time. I feel so crap!

I got a return of morning sickness in the last 6 weeks in my second pregnancy and also the move down was noticeable to me withe various aches and pains. I used to shuffle around with SPD in the weeks. Ah the joy!! Great in the heat isn't it?

Gingerbreadpixie · 11/07/2013 14:26

Too true this heat doesn't help! Plus i went a bit crazy with the housework yesterday. Including scrubbing out the washing machine drawer and drum with a toothbrush and steam cleaning all the floors. Definitely keeping off my feet today.

Baby is active. I'm just feeling him rummaging around my groin area now actually. Most strange!

Ginger good you are getting checked - I had this and eventually went as I didn't want to make a fuss either, but bloody good job I did - we found she was fully engaged, I had gone into the early stages of labour and cervix was gone, etc etc. I also had strong contractions, but kept thinking 'oh its just Braxton Hicks', so we are a bit diff there. I am currently on bed rest taking magnesium to try and hold her until 36 weeks (35 weeks tomorrow!). I also went mental with housework at about your stage, she was breech before and I am sure the housework turned her. Basically, any period stle pains you should not ignore, as they can totally sort you out if things are a bit quicker than normal, like me. I have been enjoying a lot of TV in bed! Grin

p.s. I also had a shocking return of my old friend morning sickness - and still having it. My bodies last hurrah I suppose - oh joy.
