Hello everyone my names christina and after 3 years of trying completely naturally I got my first bfp end of last month. It really was a complete suprise I couldnt stop crying and took 8 tests in total lol. Thing is all I seem to be consuming my time with is reading negative things and thinking the worst its horrible I should be over the moon :( first scan is 27th july and I will be 8+5. Not sure why its so early? Hope I still get a 12 week one.

Only symptoms ive really had is sleeping Amd weeing soo much lol and sore boobs no sickness though I have had some dizzy spells Blush

just looking for reassurance really stop the negativity driving me scatty.

Due approx 2nd march I think

Agreed with Champagne step away from google! When something negative happens to someone there is a need to talk about it. The Internet is often the place where people go to do this, which can alter a readers perception of how common negative things actually are.

This goes also for the discomforts of pregnancy and the horror stories of birth - generally speaking - it's very rarely as bad as the perception you may have built up from the cumulative descriptions.

Statistically risk of miscarriage after heartbeat is detected during a scan a is 4.2% at 7 weeks; 1.5% at 8 weeks; 0.5% at 9 weeks. So when you have your scan your chances of having a successful pregnancy will be over 99%. Smile
