I'm 29 weeks and this is my last work week

Hi ladies,

Anyone else who's going on maternity leave after this week?

It's my last week. Although I do like me job (online therapist), I can't wait until it's next week. That I don't have to work anymore for a long time. I can just rest when I need to. Shop when I want to. Lay for hours in bath with this warm weather.

Not having to be on time for my work appointments anymore. Just filling in my own time.

Just a couple of days to go..... I wish it was next week.

Very very jealous! Finish at the end of the month, and counting down the days!

I finish tomorrow!! (36+1) I cannot wait, definitely time to put my feet up! It feels very weird that this is the last 'school night' I'll have in a while!

I finish a week tomorrow, but have reduced my shifts so only have five working days left... 25 hours to be precise :). I can't wait, 32+6 and struggling at work now as I'm on my feet all day and find it difficult to get through the day without a nap haha.

I know I'll get bored on maternity leave but as this is my first baby I am conscious that I should cherish these six weeks of 'me time', as I'll never have them again (or at least not for a very long time).

I left at 29 weeks too! I didn't regret it. Have loved having a nice spell of time to myself esp during this -bloody hot-- nice weather.

two weeks time for me. cant wait. office is too hot now as we dont have air con and ive had so much sick time off ive forgotten what im meant to be do doing lol.

This is my first week off, i'm 33 weeks. Taking annual leave before maternity leave kicks in at the beginning of August.

I was feeling really good and felt like i could probably have worked longer but actually i'm glad i finished when i did because now i can focus on getting things organised. And resting lots, i think the tiredness is catching up with me!

This is my first baby and i knew i wanted a good few weeks to myself, to enjoy being selfish for the last time.

So jealous! Still have 4 weeks left at work and really struggling. I'm 32 weeks today and wishing the weeks would come around faster. Enjoy your much needed rest. I sure as hell will! x

Leaving at 38 so not long to go now. I hate being at work now, I just think of all the tidying and sorting I could be doing at home!

My last day is in a couple of weeks when I will be 29+4. I cannot wait. Working 12 hour days is exhausting, particularly in this heat. It means that I get to spend the summer holidays having fun with my other children too.

I finished that early to had to take all holidays this year which is like 6 weeks! Left on June 14th mat leave doesn't start to 30th July! :) loving the time off been off nearly a month now and it's not dragging scarily flying by actually! X

Also 29 weeks but I have another 8 weeks at work, if all goes to plan I will have 2 weeks at home before my ELCS.
I think 2 weeks is plenty for me, I'll get bored with any longer and I'd rather save my leave for when the baby is here as I only get 6 months off.
My job is office based luckily, although my office chair is quite uncomfortable it's easier than building sandcastles which is what I spent this afternoon doing.

My god I'd love to leave work on 29 weeks I'm working till 33weeks 6 days and taking 3weeks holiday then mat leave will kick in at nearly 37 weeks I carnt wait I'm currently 29 + 6 days pregnant and counting the days down till aug 11 th I work 5 evenings a week finishing at any think from 9pm- 11pm it's killing me my feet are swelling back hurts bump aches I'm emotional and tirad this is baby number 4 for me so have 3 kids at home who keep me busy all day b4 work, I carnt leave earlier as carnt afford it
