I'm 36 weeks and I don't think my back can take much more :( I cant sit, lay, stand comfortably and my tailbone is actually throbbing. This is my 4th time but I swear this is the worst I have ever felt!!!! Just a little whinge! Anyone have any advice on how to ease it??

Poor you! Exactly the same here.. I was referred to a physiotherapist, had my appointment today, walked half an hour there and half an hour back in the heat with trapped nerves galore, sat in the sweltering waiting room for 20 minutes only to be told I was too pregnant to treat. That was nice. The only thing that helps me is taking a long bath. Other than that I think we just have to endure it. Only 4 weeks to go! Good luck

34+4 and feel the same way. I feel like it needs massaging everyday just to relieve the pressure.

Would a cushion for people with a broken coccyx help?

swimming? i know it's not the easiest solution, but my back problems started at about 25weeks and i started swimming most days (not proper swimming, just hanging out in the pool) takes some of the pressure off i found. hope you find some relief

Thanks for the advice all, I don't think I will scare everyone at the swimming pool!!! I look a sight :) at the minute I'm getting a little relief sitting on my birthing ball. I just can't wait for this baby to be out now!
