Antenatal class

Hi all just wanted a bit of advice really, with my hospital I get a 3 hour free antenatal class. My dp doesn't think it is worth going as nothing useful is said (although he's got 2 dc from previous relationship, so he has been there done that etc) However he is quite happy to go with me if I want to go, the thing is I spoke to a couple of friends who had babies recently who also said they were a waste of time.

I guess what I am asking is, did you find them useful or not. are they worth going to, what do they generally focus on bearing in mind only going to be 3 hours long. Thanks

depend on content really! I went to a four hour one with my partner and it was v. useful. We also went to a couples breastfeeding workshop which was even more useful.

I would go, even if its just to chat to the other people there x

Maybe it's going to be a waste of time, but then again, maybe not.
Only one way to find out...

If you'd like to go or thinking of going. It's only 3 hours, not a full day. It's survivable even if it would be a total waste of your time.

I'm the other way around. I want to go to our local antenatal course but the only run it on a Saturday morning which DH and I can't do because we run a guest house, with breakfast being an integral part of the day.

Wondering how we can access anything further afield?
