Pain in c-section scar - 5 weeks pg

Hi
I'm 5wks pregnant with dc3 and have been getting a slight burning sensation along with scar, plus occasional sharper pains at the ends of the scar, more on one side than the other. I had sections with both of my children and ds2 is only 10 months old. Will mention it when I have my booking in appt and a quick look on google seems to suggest it is likely to be scar tissue stretching but just thought I'd see if any of you ladies have experienced this?
Thanks

Watching with interest, I'm 7 wks with dc5 and dc4 is 9 months, I have exactly the same as you and wonder if I'm imagining it because I'm paranoid but then again I have a slight bump already and a private scan has showed that all is well with the baby, so fingers crossed I reckon :)

Nearly 12 weeks and earlier this week my scar was throbbing. EMCS was over 2 yrs ago!

I'm 35 weeks now but in the early days my scar was very painful, luckily the pain stopped after a few weeks. I was told its just the scar tissue stretching and nothing to worry about.

Do get checked out. I had a c-section scar ectopic earlier this year (when the embryo implants in scar tissue). It's unbelievably rare (lucky me) but can happen. Don't mean to freak you out but worth investigating if pain continues.

Thanks all - I've not got an appt with anyone until 11 weeks, but I might see if I can get that pushed forward just in case!

I'm 19 wks and had section 2 yrs ago. Had some sharp pains and felt uncomfortable along scar early on but seems to have eased off as time has gone on and got bigger, I guess scar tissue could just react the same in pregnancy however old it is
