This is our first child and we were discussing the other night about how long we should wait before getting pregnant again (egg and sperm willing). I'm 36 and have always wanted a large family. Has anyone else turned things around quickly? How did it work out? GrinGrin Xxx

DD will be 2.3 when this bump pops and it definetly feels a small enough gap to me. One sleeping through before the next one comes - to separate sets of wake ups in the night would kill me!

I had 3 dc under 4 forawhile. I don't actually remember too much about it, but now they're 9,11,13 it's a lot easier ---apart from the hormones!!

A friend of mine had triplets via ivf. Unconcerned due to the length of time they had tried to get pregnant, she had unprotected sex about 5 weeks after giving birth. You can guess what happened next! She got pregnant with no ivf and so had 4 children in a very short space of time

If you haven't even had the first child, I'd generally hold off talks about the 2nd until the first is actually here.

2 of my children were born in the same month exactly a year apart, it was tiring to start with as the eldest didn't sleep through but it was lovel watching them grow up together

Writerwannabe83 · 10/07/2013 10:06

My mom got pregnant with me when my sister was only 2.5 months old!!

There is only 1 year and 3 weeks between me and my sister and it is brilliant!!!

We grew up together, had the same friends, we did absolutely everything together and we had the best childhood. She is easily one of my best friends Smile

Don't be put off by the potential negatives as the end result will be wonderful x x

When pregnant with first decided I wanted close gap between children, ended up with 14m. Now 1 and 2 years. Would still do same again though would have been easier if first child had not been late walker.
Playing the long game way I see it. Bloody knackering whatever you choose, pregnant with young child worst bit. Best bit seems to be at mo very little sibling rivalry too young to understand

It's great to hear all your stories. I love that so many of your children have grown up being very close xxx

Hi, Fraggle.

My baby has just turned 5 months and I'm 6 weeks pregnant - there will be just over a year between them!
