Hi
Whenever I go on a flight my feet and hands swell up from water retention and I end up taking water tablets to help it. However I know I can't take them whilst pregnant but I am going on a 10 hour flight this week. So basically wondered if there is anything I can take to prevent/help with the swelling??
Any help would be great.
Thanks xxx

DVT/flight socks are advisable if you are pg anyway - they might help.
(tubigrip is good too)

what's important is to keep moving your hands and feet, get up and walk around as often as you can.

you can try wrapping your hands in a cold wet towel or cloth if available.

avoid salty foods - they can contribute to water retention as well.

and of course it is probably best if you talk to a gp or pharmacist, they should have some good advice for you!
