I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I've just washed all the new and tiny baby clothes.

I actually just had a weep small emotional moment over the oh so tiny newborn baby socks. So cute!

Oh enjoy yourself :) this is a special time...

greenj1 · 08/07/2013 17:44

Oh I did that!!! It is very exciting and emotional!!!

Don't even get me started on the tiny little dresses with frilly knickers or going over the nappy.

I absolutely promised myself there would be no pink, no frills, no gender stereotyping... Yet I just can't help myself!

I had a similar little moment with a gorgeous newborn hat in mothercare this afternoon :)

Not clothes related but found myself wailing when Andy Murray kissed his mum yesterday. 37 +2

I have heard of woman who are overdue can go into labour from sorting all there newborn clothes...apparent your hormones go mental! Dunno if its true lol

polkadotsrock · 08/07/2013 20:22

I sobbed at a teeny wee blue dressing gown in Mothercare when I was having DS- and so did my mum!! This time I'm having a girl and cannot get over frilly knickers and striped tights, though I haven't had an overly emotional reaction...yet.

Really Shock - all I can think is OMG in 9 weeks a bb big enough to fill these clothes is coming out of me, doesn't help than most of my neices and newphews have spent very few weeks in the 0-3 months range before moving upto 3-6!
