Hi all,

I started feeling flutters quite early on, just before 15 weeks - around 17/18 weeks I had a few nice kicks and now I'm 19+2 and they are much softer and less noticable. I do still feel something every day, but is this normal? Anyone else had the same? I'm really looking forward to those proper big kicks and punches, when will they come?! Grin

Its totally normal so early on and nothing to worry about. Baby is still relatively small with lots of room to move around so it may be hiding deep in your uterus or just kicking about in the amnitoic fluid and not reaching your actual body! You only need to worry about changes/reductions in movement from 28 weeks. x

Agree with what Sanch said and would also like to add that you may regret wishing for those big kicks and punches haha :) (not really, as uncomfortable as they can be they are reassuring) but I wouldn't worry yet, baby is still turning all the time in all that room he/she has, and how much you feel can very much depend on their position.

So glad I saw this thread! I'm 20 weeks tomorrow and have been getting some quite strong kicks since 17 weeks (I'm usually skinny so can feel/see them).

They have increased but some days I feel less than others. Glad to know it's not just me!

Baby was mega active yesterday but less so today so it must be tired. Getting kicks each day though which is good Smile x
