GP instead of midwife?

I live in a village that used to do a weekly clinic for pregnant women in this area to see a midwife. They have now stopped doing this clinic from last week.

I'm due in two days and don't drive. I have no way of getting to the MLU to see a midwife during their appointment hours. Can I see a GP instead? Will they be able/willing to see me? I haven't had my urine checked since 27 weeks so I'm a bit worried about that too.

Very likely. I couldn't get a midwife appointment one week so they booked me in with a GP.
