Eek 20 week scan on Wed!

Well, I've made it this far through my first pregnancy (I'm 19+5 today) Smile

Last few weeks at work have been mega busy but nearly holiday time now (although it will be straight back to manic after that). Think it's made it go quicker!

I have my scan Wed and feeling excited to see baby again but also nervous though no where near as nervous as I was before my 12 week scan (was convinced they'd say there was no baby!)

Everything seems ok - nice strong hb at 16 weeks, uterus is at my belly button now and I feel (and see) lots of good kicks each day which have increased over the weeks so that's good. 12 week scan was great so hoping for the same again but I'm quite nervous still lol.

Not helped by the fact that I have a uti so I'm on antibiotics Sad but baby seems oblivious as it's still kicking away!

Was/is anyone else nervous about the scan? We're not asking what we're having so just checking in on baby and seeing it again Smile

Have my 20 week scan tomorrow, I am feeling a little nervous but nowhere near as much as my 12 week scan, after experiencing a mmc last year was terrified it would happen again.

Good luck with your scan and with the rest of your pregnancy x

Mine is Wednesday too and I still think they are going to say I've made it all up. Haha. Good luck x

Mine is Wednesday too!!!! I feel some kicking, but not much and my DH can't feel it yet. We are 20 weeks today Grin halfway there!!!!!!!!

glad all pregnancys going well ladies.
im 19+3 and scans on Friday.
very nervous but exited more than anything!
is anyone else going to find out the gender?

Yes I'm going to find out the gender, am very excited now but have to go to work for an hour or so before my appointment this morning so need to stay calm, also need some pound coins for photos Smile x

I've got mine a week on Wednesday, I'll be 20+4 :) good luck to you all! We're finding out the gender, I'll see if my feeling was right ;)

Hi everyone, I'm 20wks today & went for my scan, haven't felt that much movement & had a few early scares with heavy bleeding but was told today everything seems to be ok & got to find out we're having a little boy, so happy. Good luck everyone on your scans :-)

Hi everyone, had my 20 wk scan on fri. Was very nervous too as really don't feel pregnant at all - tiny bump and no movements as yet! It was amazing though, Everything was fine and it's a girl! Could have cried I was so relieved! Good luck x

Sorry only just got back to this thread! Congratulations to those who have had scans already Smile

Lots of us with upcoming ones too so lets hope they all go well Smile we'll have to update once we've had them!

Mine is in the afternoon but I'm at work in the morning so will take my mind off it Smile

Baby was mega active yesterday but I've felt less kicks today (still had some just not as many) so baby must be tired after yesterdays party Smile

My uti is feeling better too so that's good! Just want wednesday to come now x

I've got mine tomorrow! Not as nervous as I was at 12 weeks, actually quite excited, but the nerves are growing a little bit suddenly. Haven't felt that many kicks, just little light flutter still and some days I don't feel any, but hopefully all good!

congrats to all who have had scans.
im feeling really impatient now and this has been the longest couple of weeks leading up to the scan.
hope everything gos ok for those of us who have yet to have them.
I just want to buy my first baby grow!

Hi everyone. A few of us had scans booked for today, so I thought I would 'bump' the thread and ask how everyone got on??

We have a 'smaller than average' but perfectly formed little girl growing nicely. I am 5ft 3 and my husband is 6ft 4, so I am happy with 'smaller than average' as it could have easily gone the other way!
