Anyone got any good solutions other than Gavascol? I'm so uncomfortable.

I've been prescribed omprezole tablets by my gp. one a day and I don't get even the slightest heart burn anymore!!

laura20 · 07/07/2013 19:47

I hate taking gavison or rennie, can't stand the chalky texture!

EmB1715 · 07/07/2013 19:49

I'm trying greek yoghurt after every meal at the moment. The probiotics are supposed to help! It's reduced it but not disappeared completely.

OwlinaTree · 07/07/2013 20:01

Thanks i will try the yoghurt, i like that anyway.

Mint tic tacs and mint chewing gum. Am suffering badly myself at the moment. Not long to go for me otherwise I would be asking for omeprazole

Twinklestarstwinklestars · 07/07/2013 21:18

I got omeprazole too it's fab, mine was so bad I was vomiting but it stopped about an hour after taking this.

With DS boiling hot milk and boots mint indigestion tablets worked for me. This time I'm taking tescos indigestion tablets that are fruity flavoured. theyre a bit like Tums but are working much better. I love the chalky texture, it's like eating soil.

WentOnABearHunt · 07/07/2013 21:52

I really love those tesco ones. especially the blue ones. lol.

Fakebook · 07/07/2013 22:21

Yes! I pick out the blue ones too Grin. Not being crude or anything, but the tesco ones give me nice big burps that clear everything and leave me less windy too. It's like a two in one with them. Blush.
