Almost 38 weeks and fed up

Just need a moan really. I should be grateful to be pregnant considering I had a mmc last year so I feel guilty about complaining but...this entire pregnancy has been so difficult...had hyperemesis and finally getting over it and managing to come off my medication at 37+6....but now I'm so uncomfortable and constantly in pain. Been having contractions all week and have been told baby is 4/5 engaged...also been told baby is likely to come early. But so far nothing. Fed up of always feelings weighed down and uncomfortable and the contractions are doing my head in!! Anyone else feeling the same??

Don't feel guilty, hyperemesis is awful, sounds like you've had a really hard pregnancy. I am 35 weeks and counting the days til I can offficially hope for contractions, and by comparison I've had an easy pregnancy. I really hope the contractions lead to something soon - it sounds like you have really had enough.

Thank you for the sympathy...making me feel a little less selfish. Yes defo can't wait until this one pops out! Feels like I've been pregnant and feeling awful for years rather than 9 months. Hopefully your little one will also be on time! :)
