Does anyone have any recommendations regarding books / CDs which you have used? Thank you

I did a course and used the Marie Mongon cd- called rainbow relaxations. It's brilliant!!

Margaret Howells were excellent. Highly recommend them. You can find them on eBay or amazon. I used the one to prepare for birth and the birth music itself. I didn't even have to push. I was so chilled I breathed out my baby it was a water birth which I think went well with the hypno birthing technique. good luck

Thank you ladies, think that it's got to be worth a try! Would like go combine it with a water birth also.

I'm a hypnotherapist, and of the two (Marie Mongan or Natal Hypno) I'd go with Natal Hypno.

The reasons for this are that the Natal Hypnotherapy style suits my own style of hypnotherapy better (in places it sounds on the cd like it's me talking!)

If you want more of the "how to/how it works" side of things get the Marie Mongan book also. If only one could be got - go with Natal.

I've bought a Margaret Howells set on amazon of 4 cds - one for pregnancy, one to prepare for birth, one of music to listen to during birth and one for healing after birth. I'm only 9 weeks along so only listened to the first thus far, but there are some fantastic reviews online and it seems like a really good set. I'm thinking I would like to combine it with a water birth also

Think I will get some ordered up! Would quite like to read up on it as well as get the CDs - thank you
