Hello I know this is very early on but would appreciate some advice. I found out I was pregnant yesterday, was a bit shocked at was having period type pains all day. About 6 days ago I had a tiny bit of pink Cm (Sorry!) which I guess with implantation. However, yesterday I had a tiny bit of blood when I woke. I woke up today and have watery brown pink discharge not enough to leave a mark but is there a little when I wipe each time. Am a bit worried as never had this with my last pregnancy. Any advice would be great. Thanks you

Hi - spotting is pretty common in the first few weeks. Brown blood is always better than red though, and no cramping also a good sign.
At this stage there isn't much you can do except try to relax&rest and wait it out.
You may not have spotted with you first pg, but it doesn't mean there is any thing wrong this time.

I have also spotted from early on (red and brown) and have been told by so many people that it is common and can often mean nothing sinister. (I am now 11 weeks and scans have confirmed the pregnancy is doing OK so far.) Brown is old blood making its way out, not a fresh bleed, and no cramping is also good. Your normal discharge increases in pregnancy so that may make the blood look more than it is. Fingers crossed for you. It is so hard waiting it out but in the early weeks that's all you can really do, unfair as that is. If you spot continually for a week or more, or have heavier bleeding, your GP would probably refer you to the EPU for a scan if you are past 6-7 weeks but until then there's too little to see to be clear what's happening, so it would just fuel your anxiety.

Distraction is your friend during this wait, though hark at me hypocritically giving advice I haven't been taking myself.

Thank you fore reply the replies, sorry for late reply I have been away from my computer all day. The spotting eased right off to slightly tinted CM (tmi sorry!) it has now stopped altogether. I spoke to a midwife who said doesn't sound too bad at mo. Thank you for your advice
