Avoiding chickenpoxy children???

I am 7 weeks preggers and supposed to be taking DD to meet with some friends & their children at the weekend. Friend's little girl has chickenpox but all spots have scabbed over. I can't be sure that I've had chickenpox although my family "think" so. Should I stay away???

I wouldn't risk it if you're not sure you're immune. And when you do your booking in tell the midwife that you don't think you've had chicken pox - they will check your immunity.
