TMI sorry - discharge?

Searched but couldn't really find anything, sorry if this has been asked a million times already.
I'm 9-11ish weeks (should be 11 but early scan suggested was a bit less), didn't really have any discharge to begin with. Last few days I've noticed a lot of white discharge, which is fairly normal I think? Only thing is it seems to "gush" (sorry TMI) - it will suddenly feel almost like my period has started, but there's only discharge. Is this ok? Had a lot of pain/cramping as well so paranoid something's going wrong :(

I suffered with this a lot up to about 16 weeks! Panicked every time and ran to toilet thinking I was bleeding. Even went to hospital once as it was so heavy it went through my pants and I panicked it was amniotic fluid! Saw consultant and he advised me it is normal and a lot of women have it and to just wear a pad. It hasn't completely gone but no longer gushes at 20 weeks.
Try not to worry xx

I had the same thing at the beginning up until about 20 weeks, sorry I couldn't tell you what it is though.. but all was fine with me too so guess there's no need to worry :)
