4d scan - stupid question!

As I say,probably a stupid question but I love the idea of having a 4d scan. However my hubby and I don't want to know if the baby is a boy or a girl, can we get the scan without finding out? Been looking at a few clinics near by and they all mention the finding out the gender and pics I've seen online are so clear I kind of think if it was a boy it would be obvious! Anyone had a 4d scan and not found out the gender?

Don't worry your safe just ask them not to focus on bottom end. They tend to focus on face anyway as that's the interesting bit xxxx

I didnt find out with my ds they just stayed away from that area mostly tho managed to take a pic of him playing with his toes without revealing the gender

I had a 4D scan and they asked if I wanted to know the gender, which I did. You could tell by looking at DD's face that she was a girl though. I have seen others where it is obvious without seeing their bits!

Generally, depending on the package you go for, they don't tell you unless you pay extra anyway! Had my 4d scan at 29 weeks and although we already knew he is s boy (reluctant to spend extra for someone to confirm what I already know and have seen on previous scan) the sonographer actually made a point not to go anywhere near the bottom end whilst in 4d mode, and only showed me all of baby (spine etc) in 2d mode. She pretty much just showed me the face and feet in 4d

Had a 4d scan too - and said we didn't want to know the gender until it arrived. :) They just stayed away from the critical end of the body!

Even now I look at the little face in the photo and can't tell if its one or the other!!
