What items do I need?

I'm currently 5 months pregnant and expecting my first child. I haven't even started to buy yet and I'm overwhelmed by the amount of products on sale. Can someone give me a list of things I must have and also any hints or tips as I don't have a clue where to start.

Muslins. Take the number you tbink you'll need, double and add 5.

If breastfeeding:

Backlit e-reader - doesn't have to be a kindle

smartphone

lansinoh

nursing bras including sleep bras

stuff the 'healthy snacks' and stock up on chocolate for the first month.

There's a really good thread going at here at the moment. But it is overwhelming, isn't it? Basically, you need something for them to wear, something to catch the poo, something for them to sleep in, something for them to eat (generally you) and something to transport them around in. Anything else can wait!
